Stop Facebook Videos From Automatically Playing

Facebook started auto playing videos on its website and apps. But there are scrolling your news feed page all videos are start playing. It is waste of data. So, follow these steps to stop Facebook videos from automatically loading and playing.

Using Facebook on the Web browser

1. Go to top right of Facebook, click down arrow and select Settings
2. Click Videos in the left menu
3. Click the drop-down menu next to Auto-Play Videos and select Off

Using the Facebook app for Android

1. Tap the three horizontal lines icon.
2. Scroll down and tap App Settings
3. Tap Video Auto-play
4. Tap Off to stop videos from automatically playing

Using the Facebook app for iPhone or iPad

1. Tap the  three horizontal lines icon
2. Scroll down and tap Account Settings
3. Tap Videos > Autoplay
4. Tap Never Auto-play Videos to stop automatically playing
